Pre-Made Save The Arm (TM) Alert Safety Sleeves are supplied as single unit Mylar plastic wrapped nylon and cotton fabric stocking like material which when applied is similar to neoprene outerwear. The material displays the Save The Arm logo on the outside and the words No PICC, No Stick, No IV this side.  Several sizes of  the product are available.

Pre-Made Save The Arm (TM) Alert Safety Sleeves are designed to be used in situations where the need for a more permanent product is necessary.  Pre-Made Safety Sleeves serve as visual cues and forcing functions and help to direct staff away from working on the non-preferred side.  Because they are washable, Pre-Made Save The Arm (TM) Safety Sleeves can be worn multiple times. Pre-Made sleeves  are especially helpful for use in patients who are unable to communicate effectively with staff and in situations where multiple hand-offs of patients will or is likely occur. In addition, the Pre-Made sleeves are typically used in the following situations:

  • Patients who desire a more permanent barrier reminder of their condition.
  • For patients who make multiple visits to a health facility or facilities.
  • For patients admitted to a facility for a long period of time.
  • For awareness and education campaigns.
  • Where patients are self-conscious or sensitive about their medical condition and the appearance of their upper extremity.

Pre-Made Save The Arm (TM) Alert Safety Sleeves come as single package mylar plastic wrapped packages in boxes of 25 for adults and children in three basic sizes: Small Diameter, Medium Diameter and Large Diameter. An Extra Large Diameter is available for adults and may be special ordered.
