SAVE THE ARM (TM) ALERT SAFETY TAPE
Save The Arm(TM) Alert Safety Tape consists of pre-printed non-adhesive tape which can be applied to the upper extremities of those patients who should not receive IV access, excessive trauma or pressure, needle sticks and/or PICC line placement, and is meant to be used when Save The Arm (TM) Alert Safety Sleeves are not practical or create an obstacles for delivering optimal care to the patient.
Save The Arm(TM) Alert Safety Tape is designed to be applied to the upper extremity in a way that creates a visible cue to providers that the patient is not to receive intervention in that particular extremity.
Save The Arm(TM) Alert Safety Tape is intended primarily for the inpatient, emergency and clinical environment as a visual alert for medical personnel but can also be used to create awareness,in mannequin simulation techniques and as part of general venapuncture, injection, IV access, phlebotomy and PICC line training and quality assurance programs.
Save The Arm(TM) Alert Safety Tape is meant to be applied in a non-occlusive pattern and though patients can be taught how to apply Save The Arm(TM) Alert Safety Tape it is generally designed to be applied only by trained medical staff.
Save The Arm(TM) Alert Safety Tape comes in a variety of colors and is emblazoned with the SAVE THE ARM logo and slogan which says: “Save the Arm. STOP! No Stick, No IV, No PICC, This Side!”
Save The Arm(TM) Alert Safety Tape is manufactured of a lightweight, low-friction, hypoallergenic material and comes in two sizes and as single and variety packs that may be ordered through this site.
