Serious Signs of Infection in a Lymphedematous Arm:

  • Swelling with or without pain that last one to two weeks.
  • Redness or arm that feels warm/hot.
  • Red streaks in arm.
  • Blisters or breaks in skin.
  • Body temperature of over 100.5 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celsius) without cold or flu symptoms.
